Lioness is a sporty coming-of-age teen movie about Rosi, a 15 year old girl from Suriname that has difficulties to adapt to her new situation, when she is moving with her family to the Netherlands. The local football club looks like a solution for this talented girl.

Lioness was released in April 2023 in 100+ theatres in the Netherlands and Belgium. Later, it hit cinemas in Suriname, Aruba and Curaçao.
